This program requires a minimum 33.33% of equity in a qualifying business with a condition that the business you are establishing must create a job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

There are two categories under which a business person can immigrate to Quebec, which are:

Quebec Investor Program: If you want to invest and start a business in Quebec to participate in its economic growth then you can opt this option. An individual must have an investment of CAD$ 1,600,000 then you can apply to this program. Applicant should have managerial experience and can invest CAD$ 800000 for 5 years while this investment of 800,000 is refundable after 5 years without interest. However, there is an alternative option of lower amount investment of CAD$220000 while there is an agreement with financial intermediate in Canada and the amount is non-refundable.

Quebec Entrepreneur Program: People who are experienced business persons who want to own a business and actively manage it, they can get a permanent residency in Quebec and establish a business under the Quebec Entrepreneur Program. Along with it, they will contribute of the Canadian economy and for that, they must have CDN$ 300000 which is advisable to CDN$ 500000.
