Ontario is a most populous province and its manufacturing, finance, tourism and other industries attract numerous immigrants whose skills match those needed by businesses to settle in the province and contribute to strong, diversified economy.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate is required to invest from another Ontario Ministry at the Deputy Minister level along with the number of key positions requested.
• The amount of the investment is 1 Million in GTA & $ 500,000 (Outside GTA).
• The investment must generate at least five net permanent full-time jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Ontario.
• The investment has to also comply with Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR).
• The candidate can make a minimum investment of $1 million CAD in the business and must acquire at least 33.334% of the business.
• The investment cannot be redeemed after a specified period.

Investment Nominee Position Guidelines:

• Necessary for the long-term success of the investment and should be in a skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, or B).
• Be permanent, full-time positions and meet prevailing wage levels.
• Not affect the settlement of any labor dispute or affect the employment of a person involved in such a dispute, or adversely affect employment or training opportunities for Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Ontario.
