Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Business allows Manitoba to recruit and nominate individuals who are qualified and wish to invest in Manitoba around the world who have their intention to apply and ability to move to Manitoba and establish, purchase a business or become partners in an existing business.

Manitoba is a province seeking for highly qualified candidates and investors and who wants to immigrate in the province. Individuals who wish to invest in Manitoba this program is suitable for them.

Eligibility criteria:

The applicant must be able to invest equity of minimum CAD $350,000 and it should be legally obtained along with their accompanying spouse or common-law spouse, along with the purpose of creating or acquiring a business. CAD $150,000/- needs to be invested in a business, the Nominee must control at least 33.33% of the equity, or make a minimum CDN$1 million equity investment in the business, if an Investment is into an existing business.

  • A candidate should have successful business ownership of minimum three years and management experience or a minimum three years of executive-level experience as senior manager of a business.
  • A candidate should score a minimum of 60 points and the points are comprises of following heads:
  1. Age
  2. Net Worth
  3. Language proficiency
  4. Business Knowledge
  5. Business Experience; (must have at least 3y exp. in past 5 yrs.)
  6. Enhanced Settlement Factors (adaptability)
  • The candidate must attend an interview with a MPNP-B officer.
  • The candidate must make an eligible business investment in Manitoba.
  • The candidate must reside in Manitoba along with their dependent family members.
  • The candidate has to visit Manitoba to attend Business Seminar at the time of visit a candidate should submit EOI or apply to the MPNP-B which allots an additional 15 points under the “Enhanced Settlement Factors” section of the Adaptability Assessment Matrix for such exploratory visits.
  • The candidate should provide the results of a language competency test to demonstrate language proficiency.
