Canadian Experience Class – Canada

This program is an immigration category for people like you who have already settled into Canadian society and to obtain a Permanent Resident status who are Canada’s temporary foreign workers and international graduates. The people are eligible for the Express Entry selection system, who are hard working and changes that will be made will allow the program to further target the workers that Canada most needs to succeed in today’s competitive economy. The following are the minimum requirements for the program:

  • The applicant must have skilled work experience of at least 12 months (full-time or an equal amount in part time) in the three years before you apply in Canada.
  • The applicant must have work experience in Canada with proper authorization.
  • The applicant must have the language ability (speaking, listening, reading and writing) along with the required language levels needed.
  • The applicant should live and work outside the province of Quebec.

Skilled Worker Experience:

If the candidate is a skilled worker then experience in any of the following main heads is required:

  • Managerial Jobs (NOC Skill Level 0)
  • Professional Jobs (NOC Skill Type A)
  • Technical Jobs and Skilled Trades (NOC Skill Type B)

Education:

Canadian Experience Class does not require such education details. The Express Entry system is needed only when the applicant wants to make some points on the basis of his/ her education. The applicant will have to meet the following criteria:

  • The candidate should have a Canadian Secondary (High School) or Post- Secondary Certificate Diploma/ Degree, or
  • To show that the applicant’s education, an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report produced by any agency approved by Citizenship & Immigration Canada is required which is equal to Canadian education standards.

Language Ability:

  • The applicant must meet the minimum language level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for NOC 0 and A jobs OR CLB 5 for NOC B jobs, and

The applicant should meet the required level for speaking, listening, reading and writing in a language test approved by CIC.
