Foreign students who have received an approval from authorized institutes to pursue courses are eligible may apply for the visa. However, eligible courses are those which don’t belong to any award of an Australian degree, diploma or other formal award, in this case. To pursue studies in these programs, applicants should hold the Australian Non-Award Student visa.
Australian Non-Award Student Visa Basic Requirements
Applicants should have adequate English language ability, in order to apply for a Non-Award Student visa. They should be able to produce evidence of adequate financial means to support themselves. As their primary course of study, they should be registered in an authorized Non-Award course. In addition, they should have acquired overseas student health insurance cover for their tenure in Australia.
